4 STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS

STEP 1: Find a separate email from affHERmation with your survey responses forwarded back to you. You will use this to reference in Step 2 below! These notes will come to the same email address we have on file for you.

STEP 2: Using these notes as your content guide and your smart phone as your camera, shoot a 4-5 minute video in selfie mode (looking into your phone screen) with the following:

•Use the content you shared with us (that we emailed back to you) as your main guide for what to share in this video.

•Introduce your main idea

•Give a brief backstory on your related situation

•Share how you learned this lesson

•Provide any relevant call to action with potential steps another woman can take now to use your knowledge to her benefit.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Please shoot your video in the horizontal LANDSCAPE mode. DO NOT shoot it in vertical portrait mode. See the image below for a guide.

STEP 3: Your next step is to send us this video file. To do so, please make sure your phone is connected to a Wifi signal and then visit WeTransfer.com to send us your video file. Follow the instructions below to send us the file.

•Tap the + (PLUS) button at the top of the white window and then navigate to your photo/video library.

•Select the video you recorded to send us and click the ADD button to add the video to send to us.

•Email it to us at the address us@affhermation.org and include your email address and your first and last name in the message line.

•Click "Transfer" to send it to us. Wait for the file to upload and send. You should receive a confirmation email that the message was sent.

STEP 4: In 3-5 business days, watch your email inbox for another message sharing whether or not your story was approved to be added to our affHERmation Insiders platform. If approved, that announcement will have instructions on how you can join and see your story!
